A long-standing competition has raged between Halide-based representations such as Relay, and the polyhedral model as the best approach to optimize machine learning models onto accelerators. We present a hybrid product called R-TVM, which combines TVM with the R-Stream polyhedral mapper to offer the familiarity of the TVM API while leveraging the model-based optimization tools of the polyhedral model.
